The cheese pizza moves fast and is always fresh since this is the pizza that is 1.50 per slice and is always part of the promos. Note that if you purchase pizzas with toppings they will most likely not be freshly baked but rather just heated up. As such, I recommend getting the cheese-only pizza deals — they are cheap and are the freshest slices in the store. Atmosphere is kind of weird as homeless people just come in and out and hassle you for a piece of your meal or drink. But this is not the store's fault or their security — rather, it’s just a NYC thing... don't let it bother you too much. Cheap and easy meals in the middle of Manhattan! Recommended!
Was looking forward to this place as the reviews are pretty decent and we had heard food things, but ai didn't really rate the pizza. The slice was really crunchy, which I quite liked, but the sauce was bland and the overall taste wasn't great. The service was super fast and friendly though and we had a nice experience in their restaurant. It was really cheap as well.
2 Slices for $3. Of course you can’t beat it!! It was tasty, but not enough sauce. Dough and cheese with a hint of sauce. Use credit card to pay or the big guys panhandling at the door will approach you.
We had a bad experience in this place. It was close to our hotel and we thought it would be good if we grabbed pizza slices. We went there on the first night and asked for the Cheese Pizza and they answered “ No cheese 😒, Next” very unfriendly and unprofessional! We thought maybe it was a coincidence and that worker was mean and unfriendly. The second night we went there, after waiting 5-10 minutes in line we were ready to order Cheese Pizza and they answered “Only cash for now, Next” They try to avoid paying taxes that’s why at night they make it cash only. Would not recommend.
I had a satisfying experience at 2 Bros Pizza on 6th in NYC. The pizza was delicious, and I appreciated how quick and affordable it was. The service was what you'd expect from a typical NYC pizza joint – not overly friendly, but efficient enough to get the job done. One thing to be aware of is that there were several homeless people asking for money inside the pizza shop, which was a bit annoying and uncomfortable. Aside from that, if you're looking for a tasty and budget-friendly slice, 2 Bros Pizza is worth a visit. I'd give it a 4-star rating overall.
