Pretty underwhelming burrito. Seems like a family run restaurant and the staff were nice, but the food just wasn’t that good in my opinion.
I paid 16 dollars (cash) for their carne asada burrito. The rice was fine and the spicy sauce was actually pretty good but the meat was quite disappointing. The beef had no grilled flavour at all, and was really bland. It tasted more like reheated pieces of under seasoned shaved beef on the plancha. For a carne asada burrito, this is pretty unfortunate. The quantity of meat wasn’t especially generous either.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place for Mexican food in New York. There are many other better options at similar price points.

I absolutely adore this place. It is the best Mexican place I’ve encountered in the city. I always get their tacos and they have rich, delicious birria. Their $8 32oz horchata is what I dream about. It’s not too sweet but very refreshing and goes well with the tacos. The customers in there are really nice, and regulars will sometimes recommend dishes to me like the Chile Relleno (delicious!). They cook everything fresh in front of you. The menu is extensive and Cash only, ATM out front, Citi and Chase bank across the street

Best pozole I’ve found in NYC! I am genuinely so happy I found it.
Edit: got it again, it still hits! A dream come true!

The service is friendly, the food is delicious and the portions are huge, the vibe is chill and it feels kinda private. The price is unbeatable for this great quality!

It’s a hole in the wall like place, not the prettiest interior to dine in, got few chairs and tables, small space, but their tacos are so incredibly good. Friendly lady and the chef serving everyone. I ordered the beef and chicken tacos. Got flat price for paying cash. Both beef and chickens were cooked in the grill right in front of me, as well as tacos were prepared and packed. There was green chili sauce on each of them.
Each taco had two wraps. Huge in size, full of meat. I was three but was already full eating just two. Also got the flan, that had beautiful texture, fluffy and fresh. It wasn’t too sweet. Was a delicious treat after the tacos.
