The döner and Adana kebab were both delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Aygul was incredibly helpful and made sure we had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, and we were very satisfied with everything. We will definitely be coming back!

Only the doner meats are good here, the vertical spinning thing. I usually get a sandwich with the doner kabab and they are all decent and a good size. Do not ever get something that is not a doner meat and they say will take "15 mins". It will take way longer than 15 mins and they will give you tiny dry pieces of meat instead. It's half the amount as the doner sandwiches and you will leave hungry and having paid more. I have made this mistake twice. The plates also seem worse than sandwiches as they are tiny and come with a completely unwrapped pita bread thrown in the bag. the pictured Item was $20

This is my first time here and it was quite nice .if you are hungry this gyro will definitely fill you ! I ordered mixed lamb and chicken gyro on house made bread . The lamb was absolutely yum and flavorful but can’t say the same for the chicken tbh: it lacked flavor , wasn’t grilled enough and I could taste the pieces of fat ( I’d definitely recommend you stick to lamb. The fries portion was really big and they were crispy and nice though slightly oily but I’d still have them another time . The Aran was absolutely yum and I totally recommend it.

ISTANBUL here in CHELSEA. I had been in the Middle East for two months. My return flight was to Istanbul so I stayed at the FOUR SEASONS, the one closest to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. I had been craving kebabs and had. It been lucky to find very good ones. I could find do so but not GREAT ONES. Well, this is the place!! The young man from ISTANBUL behind the register was patient, warm, and answered my twenty questions lol. But I did ask a lot of questions. I settled with the chicken ones. They were moist, cut the perfect size, they added extra tomatoes with no fuss. The young man behind the counter was from Turkmenistan. While they were making my food to go, we talked about my rug buying trip to Turkmenistan. The food was packed up and I left to wait for sundown. At home I couldn’t have been more pleased. I paid EXTRA for the homemade bread. It’s not only worth it, it stole the show. That bread was like your mother’s. It was pure perfection. The sandwich it self was a perfect marriage of Turkish delight. I will have to share that I did not like the sauces that came with it. They just weren’t for me. Luckily at home I had sauces in my fridge. They also don’t have tables- maybe in the summer they have tables outside. I think the food is too good to be eaten standing but let’s face it if you are on the run and needed a quick taste of Turkey or only have a half hour lunch break then I understand. Sadly we have a lot of mediocre places in Chelsea. My suggestion is keep walking until you get to MEMO’s. Maybe you will like the sauces but the white one was just too runny for me. It didn’t enhance the flavor but created more of a mess. But THAT MEAT!!! In Jordan etc there is a soft drink called VIMTO. It’s refreshing and delicious and pairs well with a kebab etc. Maybe they can add to their menu but they do have a wide selection of drinks. But in the end after my first deliriously delicious bite, I felt like I was in the middle of the hustle and bustle in Istanbul on a Saturday with the Blue Mosque in site. MEMO’s on 23rd could easily be in the shopping area of the Four Seasons where the shops are well known for their quality. YOU MIGHT WONDER WHY THERE IS NO PICTURE OF MY SANDWICH BECAUSE I DEVOURED IT and got caught up in the moment. I liked it so much and this is rare for me to do, I ORDERED ANOTHER sandwich the next day just to monitor quality and consistency. Well, IT WAS SPOT ON! Bismillah

The primary reason for my one-star rating regarding the atmosphere is that, despite enjoying the scent, I found it to be excessively potent, to the point where I preferred not to breathe through my nose. On a more positive note, the food was absolutely wonderful. If you happen to have a sensitive nose, I would suggest dining outside.
