Oscar Wilde is one of the most visually impressive restaurants and bars I have visited in New York. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible. Every room is filled with unique details, elegant décor, and character. You can tell an enormous amount of thought and effort went into creating the space. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. The staff helped create a very welcoming experience. The only downside, in my opinion, is the food portions. They are surprisingly small considering the prices. Don't come expecting huge plates or great value for money when it comes to food. That said, this is one of those places where you're paying not only for the meal but for the entire experience. And when it comes to atmosphere, design, and overall vibe, Oscar Wilde atmosphere scores 100 out of 100. A must-visit at least once, especially if you appreciate unique places with unforgettable character.

Oscar Wilde was truly a magical experience from start to finish. The decor is absolutely stunning. It feels like you've fallen down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. Every detail is beautiful and creates such a fun and whimsical atmosphere. The food was amazing, and the service was impeccable. I also loved the convenience of the digital menu, which you can easily access with a QR code right at the table. Our server, Bailey, was amazing, friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We started with the crispy calamari and then had the Truffled Gnocchi with porcini duxelle, brown butter cream, fried sage, chives, and Parmesan cheese, which was my absolute favorite dish of the night. We also enjoyed the NY Prime Hanger Steak, served with rainbow potatoes and a baby greens salad, which was perfectly cooked. For drinks, we ordered two cocktails from the Alice in Wonderland collection. The Little Alice had a delicious almond flavor and was beautifully topped with a blue butterfly. My favorite drink was the Queen of Hearts, made with peach liqueur, peach nectar, fresh mint, lemon, cinnamon, vanilla, and prosecco. It was refreshing, flavorful, and elegantly decorated with rose petals. Everything about our visit was exceptional. Between the incredible atmosphere, delicious food, creative cocktails, and outstanding service, I would highly recommend Oscar Wilde. I can't wait to come back again!

I recently visited Oscar Wilde’s Alice in Wonderland-themed for a birthday brunch on 6-13-26. Now I am a huge Alice and wonderland theme lover and the experience, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The decorations, whimsical details, and immersive theme made it feel like stepping right into Wonderland. Every corner was thoughtfully designed, making it a fun and memorable experience. The food was alright—nothing particularly outstanding, but it was decent and nicely presented. The real standout was the dessert, that I got as a surprise for my birthday which was absolutely delicious and easily the best part of the meal. One thing to be aware of before visiting: the restaurant only serves certain menu items at specific times of the day. If you’re expecting to order from the dinner menu during brunch hours, that’s not going to happen. Make sure to check the menu and dining times in advance so you know what will be available during your visit. Overall, I would recommend Oscar Wilde for the unique atmosphere and amazing desserts. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for a fun themed dining experience in NYC. ♟️♠️♥️♣️🐛🦋

The decorations inside every inch of this place is no doubt spectacular, and it's the main selling point of this restaurant. I was surprised by how not bad their food was, for a restaurant like this. However, the price is really high for the amount you get. Each cocktail is around $20, which is basically two meals outside of that restaurant. It's not exactly kid friendly in my opinion. They cramped tables inside to maximize capacity, but when they really sit everyone inside, it's too cramp. There was a lack of air flow inside that made my experience quite sufferable. This is a restaurant for visual impression. Don't come here for the food because there are PLENTY of amazing tasty options in the city.

This is a unique place and the Alice in Wonderland decor is fascinating. It's loud and talking while dining worked, but you need companions with strong voices to hear well. As others have mentioned, food portions are small, especially given the prices (I guess you are paying for the atmosphere). I had fish and chips which came with one modest sized piece of fish. I asked for mashed potatoes instead of fries which were tasty. My wife's wagu sliders were small even for sliders (how do they make buns that small?) and came with nothing else, again at a premium price. The dish the sliders were on was very small, so they look bigger in the photo. It looked like a small appetizer not a main dish. My daughter's chicken was dry and she only ate half of it. Overall the food was underwhelming for two of our party. Luckily I was not very hungry so the small fish portion was ok. If you go here, do it for the drinks and atmosphere, not the food.
