Great little spot in lower Manhattan. Very friendly vibe. Great vegetarian choices. All the food tasted quite fresh and they give you a nice size serving. The staff was attentive but not overly so. (The bathroom was actually very nice as well) Perfect afternoon spot!

My husband and I love to go to the Grey Dog for brunch everytime we go in Manhattan. Grey Dog never disappoints. We Love the food, the service, and the ambiance/decor. We definitely recommend others to go there as well. Don't think, Just go. Definitely recommend the tofu and crispy rice dish. My husband absolutely Loves the pancakes, they're so FLUFFY!

RECOMMENDED!! Walked in without really knowing what to expect and left genuinely impressed. Got The Grey Dog Breakfast… it just hits super good. Everything was delicious, portions were solid, and the vibe in there is super cozy and welcoming, exactly the kind of place you want to be in on a morning. Service was great too, no complaints whatsoever. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Flatiron.

Atmosphere wise this place is excellent. The friendly-neighborhood-hang out spot vibe is great.
The moment you step in the energy is great and just by looking around you see their history and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves grabbing brunch.
The food was good but nothing stood out in particular, I would visit again and try a different dish, although it was enjoyable.
Some of the servers seemed a bit annoyed to be taking orders or answering questions about the menu, no one was rude just rushed. The bussers were nice and polite.
They are quite the busy spot so I wouldn’t stand encouraged a reservation, specially for the weekend.

Does this look like an egg and cheese croissant to anyone?
I work in service and when people are spending their money they deserve communication.
I ordered online. Paid online. Walked over to pick up. Was not ready when said, waited outside for an extra 10 minutes. Trusting that my order was correct. It was not, you see what I got. So I called to communicate this and the young lady on the phone says”Oh yes, we've nixed the croissant a while ago”
My question was then how come that wasn’t said during placing the order or while I was waiting for pick up? She explained she’s not sure she just answers the phone… unacceptable. Please train your people to use their words. Its not fair that I now have to find something else to eat (because im
Not eating this hard toast) and I spent my hard earned money. I totally don’t like service experiences more and more because of simple things like this #dobetter
