I recently ordered a steak sandwich, coffee, and a croissant from Maman Nomad through their app for takeout, and everything was excellent. The app is very user-friendly and made ordering quick and easy. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming. One thing I really appreciated was the separate pickup station for online orders, which made collecting my order fast and hassle-free. The steak sandwich was delicious, the coffee was great, and the croissant was fresh and flaky. Even though I ordered takeout, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would love to come back and dine in next time. The space feels cozy, inviting, and like a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!
I had a lovely breakfast at Maman; the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. However, the service was quite disappointing. It's a shame that such a great establishment can be let down by small details. I had to ask for the restroom code several times because the staff was so busy, which created a very awkward situation. I really hope they can improve their service to match the quality of their food.
An amazing café. The atmosphere is super nice, with a relaxed vibe. The coffee was perfect well balanced, creamy, exactly how it should be. The service was attentive and friendly from the moment you walk in. If you're visiting New York and looking for a spot to have breakfast or take a break, Maman is a must. Definitely coming back.
Right across our hotel, we got to try this place t twice for brunch. The interior was beautiful, and the selection of pastries on display is mouthwatering. Based on their food alone, I’d have to say Maman was a pleasant surprise. The highlight was their Wild Salmon Salad, which reinforced my belief that the french know how to make a mean salad. They did not skimp on thay salmon at all. The omelette was OK for me since I preferred runny eggs. I’ve also had better croissants but also not the worst one I’ve had. While I wish their coffee was a little stronger, I quite liked the flavor of their honey lavender latte. Service was a mixed bag - the two ladies that served us were very nice but some I observed were a little snobby. Overall, I’d go back to this place for their salad.
Our server Camilo was wonderful and very friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks refreshing. If we had space in our stomachs we would've ordered desserts, they looked yummy but we were too full! The place is very cute. Eating in a big group would be kind of cramped but the outdoor seating is made for that. Definitely would come back again!
